About Our Dental Clinic
Idaho Dental Wellness Center is conveniently located on the corner of South Kimball Place and West Overland Road.
We offer free parking and wheelchair accessibility in a family-orientated health center. We also provide Cosmetic Dentistry. We take pride in our ability to address fear of pain with our friendly, helpful staff, relaxed atmosphere and our Waterlase technology where patients feel comfortable and part of our extended "dental family".

Policies
Appointments:
The first appointment is usually reserved for a comprehensive examination that includes X-rays, facial photographs and models. During this examination, which lasts between 40-50 minutes, Dr. Hanson does oral cancer screening, checks for cavities, fractured and chipped teeth, evaluates gums for most appropriate gum treatment and teeth cleaning, and checks your bite and more. He will then make recommendation, which we print for you. We will sit down with you, go over the treatment, the fees, also we will present the best appointment schedule for you.
Fees:
In addition to making your dental treatment experience stress-free, we strive to assist you as best we can in financing your visit to our office. We accept cash, debit, Visa or MasterCard for payment at the time of your appointment. If you have dental insurance, our skilled staff with the use of a special computer program can assist you in processing your insurance claim immediately. Should you have specific concerns regarding finances we suggest you contact our Office Manager to discuss payment options that suit your budget.

Cutting Edge Technology
DIAGNOdent
This unique instrument provides instant feedback on the health of the tooth. A pen like probe simply glides over tooth surfaces constantly checking the health of the tooth. A number scale and an alarm signals the operator when there are signs of hidden decay. This new technology is completely safe and pain free.
Waterlase
There are many advantages to using the Waterlase over conventional instruments:
- Patient COMFORT! Waterlase Dentistry does not transmit heat or vibration, a major cause of the discomfort associated with the dental drill. In addition, using the Waterlase reduces bleeding, post-operative pain and swelling in many procedures.
